What to Expect

Before your session we’ll talk about your needs, goals, and any ideas you have for your photos. We’ll combine this with my artistic style to create the vision for your session.

I’m an on-location, natural light photographer. What that means is I will come to your home or meet you at a location of your choice. If you don’t have a place in mind, don’t worry. I can suggest an array of natural or urban locations to choose from. Each session is special and unique (like you) and personalized for your family’s needs.

During your session you can expect a relaxed and fun atmosphere. I want you to feel comfortable and spend the time enjoying your moments, not stressing about getting the perfect shot. I want your photos to reflect you, so I’ll be taking a lot of candid shots of you interacting with each other in addition to the perfectly posed ones. If you have any props or items that you’d like to use, bring them!

Portrait Sessions last anywhere from 1-2 hours and allow for one outfit change.

Newborn Sessions typically last for 3 hours and are done in the comfort of your home. I will arrive with an arsenal of equipment and props and we will work around the baby’s schedule!

Within 3 weeks after the session, your images will be ready for viewing in a private, on-line gallery. You can expect to see 20+ professionally edited images – the best from your session to order from. You will then have 14 days from the time the gallery is available to complete your order. Please allow 2-3 weeks after ordering for your print delivery to arrive.
