]]> I was very excited when my good friend and local artist Tracy from KrankyKrab asked me to take product shots of a new line of pillows she created for her store. She’s a print illustrator who specializes in whimsical children’s art and had recently decided to branch out into the 3D realm by putting her characters on pillows. I’ve always been a fan of her work and my daughter has several of her pieces on her bedroom walls. During our session, we were able to capture some lifestyle shots of her creative process. Tracy first draws everything by hand and then scans them into the computer to finish all of the details. It’s always amazing to me to watch an artist at work.
